Responsibilities

• ▹Further develop the data warehouse and build backend-near solutions with a focus on SQL Server and SQL
• ▹Help shape the next step in the move to GCP and BigQuery
• ▹Develop ETL flows, data models and data flows from internal systems and external sources, such as insurance companies
• ▹Support the team in individual projects, from understanding broad business requirements to technical solutions and priorities
• ▹Act as a technical sounding board to the responsible manager on architecture, technical choices and the long-term direction of Data & Analytics
• ▹Develop ways of working together with the team, for example around AI, version control, CI/CD and automation
• ▹Work broadly and hands-on with backend, data warehouse, data flows and data modeling close to the business

Requirements

• ▹Several years of experience as a Data Engineer, BI developer or similar role, hands-on across the whole flow from integration to reporting
• ▹Experience in SQL Server with dynamic SQL, ETL flows, modeling and data quality
• ▹Experience in reporting and visualization, for example in SSRS and Power BI
• ▹Used to reasoning about data modeling, system design and how solutions must be built to be understandable, stable and maintainable
• ▹Comfortable with both Swedish and English as working languages

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with GCP, BigQuery or migration to cloud-based data platforms
• ▹Experience with Power BI or the insurance industry (not required)
