System Architect – Connectivity & Telematics

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop system solutions and architecture within connectivity and telematics for connected vehicles
• ▹Analyse needs and break them down into system- and component-level requirements
• ▹Discuss technical choices and interfaces with development teams and other technology areas
• ▹Contribute in early development phases and follow up that solutions meet agreed requirements

Requirements

• ▹Experience of system design or system architecture in vehicle development or embedded systems
• ▹Experience of requirements analysis and requirements breakdown
• ▹Ability to understand complex systems and their technical dependencies
• ▹Good ability to communicate technical solutions and collaborate across technology areas

Nice to have

• ▹Experience of connectivity, telematics or connected vehicle functions
• ▹Experience from the Volvo Group development environment
• ▹Background in electronics, software or a related technical field
• ▹Experience of international development collaboration
