QA Engineer (Manual, Web Platform)

Responsibilities

• ▹Test new features end to end during development: frontend, backend, APIs and third-party integrations
• ▹Run regression testing before releases and smoke testing on production after each release
• ▹Validate business and technical requirements with Product and Engineering before development starts
• ▹Investigate defects with logs, API responses and network traffic, and write clear, reproducible bug reports
• ▹Be the first line for requests from Monetization, Finance and Product Tech: reproduce the issue, assess severity and escalate with facts
• ▹Maintain test documentation in TestRail, Jira and Confluence
• ▹Work with the Automation QA team to decide which cases to automate

Requirements

• ▹4+ years of manual QA of web applications (frontend, backend, API)
• ▹Risk-based test design: explain what you test, what you don't, and why
• ▹API testing with Postman / Charles and Swagger / OpenAPI
• ▹Root cause investigation with Chrome DevTools (HAR, network, storage) and logs
• ▹Hands-on with the full release cycle: feature, regression and production smoke testing
• ▹Daily use of AI tools (Claude, Cursor or similar) in QA work, with critical checking of their output
• ▹Experience in a product company or startup with frequent releases
• ▹Written English good enough for documentation and bug reports

• ▹Payments and subscriptions testing (Chargebee, Adapty, Payrails, trials, taxes, Apple Pay / Google Pay)
• ▹Web funnels and A/B experiments
• ▹Analytics event validation (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, GTM dataLayer)

• ▹Testing AI-powered features
• ▹Basic Playwright / TypeScript
