Responsibilities

• ▹Analyze new functionality, create test designs, write and maintain test cases
• ▹Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
• ▹Test NOVACARD's mobile apps on Android and iOS, including behavior across OS versions, screen resolutions, app updates, push notifications, and deeplinks
• ▹Validate complete user scenarios across the app, APIs, message queues, and databases — from user action to final data state
• ▹Prepare and maintain test data, including customers at different lifecycle stages, tariffs, credit limits, and product offers
• ▹Analyze test results, identify defects and risks, and provide clear, timely testing reports
• ▹Review requirements, identify cross-team dependencies, and align with relevant teams before testing begins
• ▹Estimate testing effort, contribute to the regression test suite, and support release planning
• ▹Investigate logs, trace requests across services using correlation/trace IDs, and collaborate with developers on complex issues
• ▹Continuously improve QA processes, test coverage, and product quality with engineering and QA teams

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of experience testing complex software systems
• ▹2+ years of experience testing external integrations
• ▹Strong experience in functional testing of mobile apps on Android and iOS
• ▹Hands-on experience with device logs, including Android Logcat and iOS Console
• ▹Experience intercepting and analyzing mobile traffic, and testing app behavior across OS versions and screen resolutions
• ▹Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
• ▹Excellent knowledge of software testing theory and test-design techniques
• ▹Experience with Jira, Confluence, and test-management tools (X-Ray, TestRail, Test IT, Zephyr, or similar)
• ▹Strong understanding of SOAP and REST API testing, including XML, JSON, response codes, contract schemas, session- and token-based authentication
• ▹Confident SQL skills: writing medium-complexity queries with joins and aggregations, reading database schemas, validating data
