Healthcare Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• ▹Analyze data from billing, claims, payment and accounts receivable systems
• ▹Monitor KPIs such as collections, denial rates, claim volumes, reimbursement and AR aging
• ▹Identify trends, anomalies and performance gaps across client accounts and workflows
• ▹Build and maintain reports and dashboards for internal and client-facing teams
• ▹Investigate data discrepancies and resolve them with relevant teams
• ▹Translate findings into clear insights and actionable recommendations
• ▹Support client performance reviews with data analysis
• ▹Conduct ad hoc analysis for operational and business questions
• ▹Collaborate with billing, coding, claims, AR and client success teams

Requirements

• ▹2+ years in data analysis, healthcare analytics or revenue cycle analytics
• ▹Experience with healthcare, financial or operational datasets
• ▹Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
• ▹Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• ▹Working knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes and metrics
• ▹HIPAA-compliant private workspace

Nice to have

• ▹SQL experience
• ▹Experience with Epic, Athena, eClinicalWorks or another healthcare system
• ▹Healthcare RCM or medical billing experience
• ▹Analyzing claims, reimbursement, denials or collections data
• ▹Preparing client-facing reports or presentations
