Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead, coach and develop a team of software engineers with clear expectations
• ▹Own the team's delivery, execution and engineering health, keeping commitments realistic and risks visible early
• ▹Partner with Product to translate business priorities into executable technical plans
• ▹Actively participate in architecture, design and engineering discussions
• ▹Ensure solid practices around code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, security and documentation
• ▹Drive predictable delivery while balancing features, technical debt, scalability and platform reliability
• ▹Work with Principal and Senior Engineers on architecture and complex technical decisions
• ▹Use engineering metrics and qualitative signals to improve team effectiveness
• ▹Identify dependencies and blockers early and coordinate across teams
• ▹Build a culture of ownership and accountability
• ▹Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, career development and succession planning

Requirements

• ▹Several years of professional software engineering experience, including building and operating production systems
• ▹Strong hands-on experience with Java and its ecosystem, able to understand, review and challenge technical decisions

What we offer

• ▹Salary range of EUR 60,000 to 100,000 gross per year, depending on location, skills and experience
• ▹Full-time
• ▹Remote within +/- 2 hours of CET
