Tech Lead (Agent Frontend)

Responsibilities

• ▹Own the technical direction of the Recare Agent, from architecture decisions to roadmap execution and delivery predictability
• ▹Lead the team as the technical backbone and escalation point, ensuring clarity, speed and quality in execution
• ▹Design and evolve the agent architecture, especially around agentic UI patterns and orchestration logic
• ▹Enable the team through hands-on mentorship, code reviews and removing blockers fast
• ▹Drive reliability, performance, observability and security across all agent workflows in a highly sensitive healthcare context
• ▹Build and ship frontend systems using React and TypeScript, with a focus on scalable, maintainable architecture
• ▹Collaborate closely with Product, Design and QA to sharpen scope, manage trade-offs and ensure predictable delivery
• ▹Ensure production readiness through clear runbooks, stable releases and measurable SLAs

Requirements

• ▹6+ years of professional software development experience, having led and owned technical directions and team outcomes end to end
• ▹Strong expertise in TypeScript and React, confident building complex, stateful UIs with asynchronous or streaming-driven interactions
• ▹Understanding of how to design, ship and evolve frontend systems in production, with a focus on quality and maintainability
• ▹Solid foundations in CI/CD and testing frameworks (e.g. Jest, Cypress) and a clear interest in deeper engineering topics such as pipelines, caching strategies and performance optimization
• ▹Systems and trade-off thinking, driving for simple, scalable architectures while maintaining a high bar for engineering quality
• ▹Natural ownership: acting as a reliable escalation point, ensuring clarity in execution and keeping the team unblocked
• ▹Clear and effective communication in a remote-first environment, with strong collaboration skills across Product, Design and QA
• ▹Care for security and privacy by design, comfortable working in a healthcare context where reliability, compliance and trust are critical
• ▹Confident communication in English and comfort operating in an international environment
