Senior AI Product Designer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design the AI-native surfaces the platform is built around, including multi-modal interfaces, agent state, uncertainty and human-in-the-loop controls, inventing the patterns as you go
• ▹Own end-to-end design for a product area (Discharge Core, Voice Desktop, Extract & Docs, Patient Overview or Agent), from a messy problem statement to what ships in production
• ▹Contribute to the design system, building components and AI-specific conventions that other designers and teams build on
• ▹Partner closely with product and engineering, shaping technical and product direction
• ▹Work with other designers across the organisation, bringing input and influence beyond your own product area
• ▹Hold a high craft bar in critique, lifting the standard of what the wider design team ships
• ▹Help hold coherence across the AI Suite (Voice, Docs, Extract, Agent) and Discharge Core so the platform feels like one product

Requirements

• ▹8+ years of product design experience, with at least 3+ years at Senior, Principal or Staff level
• ▹Experience designing for AI and non-determinism, and the ability to talk concretely about how you communicated agent behaviour, handled errors and kept users in control
• ▹Ownership of or significant contribution to a design system, at the level of patterns and principles rather than individual components
• ▹Block-shaped profile: equally strong across UX process, UI craft, product thinking, research, storytelling and cross-functional collaboration
• ▹Experience taking features from 0 to 1 through an ambiguous problem statement to shipped code, comfortable acting like a PM or frontend developer when needed
• ▹High agency: you spot gaps without being asked, including outside your own product area
• ▹You hold a position under pressure but change it when new information warrants
• ▹Confident communication in English and comfort in an international environment
• ▹A consumer-grade craft background with exceptional design

• ▹Healthtech experience (a plus, not required)
