Responsibilities

• ▹Lead an engineering team: regular 1:1s, continuous feedback, a culture of ownership and collaboration
• ▹Support hiring, onboarding and professional growth; remove blockers
• ▹Translate product goals into realistic engineering plans, break down complex initiatives, scope, estimate and prioritise with Product
• ▹Drive architectural decisions within the team and maintain high engineering standards through reviews and mentoring
• ▹Improve performance, reliability and maintainability; contribute hands-on to features, refactoring and production issues
• ▹Align with other Technical Leads and Product Managers and coordinate dependencies across teams
• ▹Use AI daily for implementation, code reviews, testing, debugging, documentation and architecture, and help the team adopt it

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of professional backend or full-stack development
• ▹Strong experience with ASP.NET Core
• ▹Experience with React, TypeScript and JavaScript
• ▹Experience building scalable SaaS products
• ▹Comfortable working in cloud-native architectures
• ▹Experience with F#, or strong C# skills and genuine motivation to learn functional programming
• ▹Has led an engineering team before and enjoys helping people grow
• ▹Can scope and estimate complex work, prioritise under changing requirements and balance technical debt with delivery
• ▹Advanced AI user in daily engineering work
