Responsibilities

• ▹Own data models, ETL processes and data warehouses in modern cloud environments
• ▹Independently lead demanding sub-projects from concept to delivery
• ▹Develop ML models, RAG systems and agent workflows on real, often incomplete data
• ▹Communicate independently with operational contacts on the customer side and understand the context of large customer databases
• ▹Translate analytical results into clear recommendations on which customers base decisions
• ▹Steer smaller sub-projects and make complex topics workable for the team
• ▹Provide technical guidance to junior colleagues

Requirements

• ▹Degree completed with very good grades in computer science, mathematics, physics, data science or a comparable field
• ▹3 years of relevant professional experience, following projects into live operation
• ▹Very good Python skills
• ▹Solid experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP), data models, ETL and data warehousing
• ▹Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG systems, agent workflows and common ML libraries (Hugging Face, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
• ▹Ability to structure unclear starting situations independently
• ▹Enjoyment of direct customer contact and explaining analytical content clearly
• ▹Permanent residence in Germany and willingness to travel within the DACH region, with a monthly visit to the Hamburg office
• ▹Fluent German (at least C1)
