Highberg DACH (formerly SCHICKLER), one of the leading consultancies in the media industry, is looking for a Data Science intern for its Hamburg office. The intern works on real client projects from day one, builds machine learning models, and analyzes large datasets, with the team placing strong emphasis on professional growth.

Responsibilities

▹Gain in-depth insight into consulting work and the application of data science in the media industry
▹Actively work on data science projects, supporting consultants with data analyses
▹Independently develop machine learning models, prototypes, and proofs of concept
▹Analyze large volumes of data and generate insights

Requirements

▹Completed undergraduate studies in mathematics, computer science, physics, or another strongly quantitative field with very good grades
▹Talented programmer (e.g. in Python, R, Java, C/C++, Matlab)
▹Familiar with common data-analysis and machine learning concepts, ideally with initial experience in frameworks such as TensorFlow, Theano, Keras, or Amazon Web Services
▹Strong analytical mindset, not afraid of challenges, enjoys getting into new topics
▹At least 3 months available
▹Fluent German (at least C1 level)

Nice to have

▹Familiarity with the team's tech stack (e.g. dbt, BigQuery, Tableau, Power BI, Keras, PyTorch, Hugging Face) is a plus
