Responsibilities

• ▹Act as primary point of contact for day-to-day client communication: respond to questions about timelines, collaborate on resolving issues and coordinate execution of long-term project plans
• ▹Manage project and task progress in the project management system and ensure the team delivers on time as expected by the client
• ▹Coordinate with the team to conduct ticket status follow-up with the client or project team
• ▹Monitor employee time against allocation and project scope; investigate issues and escalate to management as needed
• ▹Create and present weekly status updates to the PMO Director, Success Managers and/or clients on project health, progress and projections
• ▹Create project team utilization forecasts, project schedules and timelines
• ▹Ensure deliverables and estimates are aligned within the project plan, and present the project plan to the client for alignment and approval
• ▹Provide leadership to the project team: collect current status, analyze open issues and set direction and priority for next steps
• ▹Schedule and facilitate internal meetings (stand-ups, internal status, retrospectives) and client meetings (stand-ups, planning, status updates, kick-off, touch points, retrospectives and user acceptance testing)
• ▹Capture risks raised by internal and external stakeholders in regular status reports, create mitigation plans and implement them if a risk is realized
• ▹Prepare and issue invoices for managed projects and review invoices prepared by team members
• ▹Assist team members in getting access to project, document, time tracking and task management systems and help troubleshoot issues
• ▹Meet regularly with the Success Manager to align client communication and discuss long-term relationship opportunities and the strategic direction of the account
• ▹Manage one to three large eCommerce projects/builds of 1000 or more hours, involving complex variables or services new to CQL and requiring all CQL disciplines
• ▹Manage two to five eCommerce-focused client support engagements in addition to project workload
• ▹Lead implementation of one to two internal initiatives per year
• ▹Provide guidance and mentorship to Project Managers and Interns
• ▹Perform administrative tasks such as internal and company-wide meetings, email and time tracking

Requirements

• ▹6+ years of experience in project management
• ▹5+ years in managing eCommerce builds
• ▹Experience utilizing Jira
• ▹Working knowledge of Google Workspace, video conference and project management software
• ▹Understanding of eCommerce web development concepts and the design process
• ▹Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at both a business and technical level
• ▹Ability to use root cause analysis to provide creative solutions to complex technical and business issues
• ▹Ability to synthesize information from data
• ▹Ability to manage time and tasks well; comfortable asking questions and reporting concerns as needed
• ▹Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget
• ▹Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and learn quickly
• ▹Desire to work in a team environment
• ▹Ability to take ownership of a project from kickoff to conclusion, remaining accountable for shortcomings and sharing successes
• ▹Willingness to mentor and train others

Nice to have
