Director of Engineering

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead, mentor and grow a diverse, fully remote engineering team
• ▹Build a culture of accountability, technical excellence and psychological safety
• ▹Structure engineering pods for autonomy and alignment, with clear career ladders and succession planning
• ▹Partner with Product Management to run engineering pods as empowered, cross-functional teams
• ▹Oversee the architectural integrity, security and performance of high-volume, low-latency ad tech infrastructure
• ▹Balance new feature delivery with continuous modernization and technical debt management
• ▹Maintain data privacy, compliance and security standards across engineering operations
• ▹Establish and monitor engineering metrics such as DORA or SPACE to identify bottlenecks
• ▹Lead adoption of AI-augmented development tools such as code assistants, automated testing and documentation agents
• ▹Quantify the impact of modernization initiatives on cycle time, deployment frequency and delivery velocity
