Head of Engineering, POS Application Platform

Responsibilities

• ▹Own the technical strategy and architecture for the POS Application Platform
• ▹Build and govern the four core platform pillars: developer experience, platform reliability, foundational frameworks, and squad adoption
• ▹Define and enforce engineering standards across all POS device types and OEM manufacturers
• ▹Functionally lead POS engineers embedded across Payments, Onboarding, VAS, Savings, and Loans squads
• ▹Own POS observability end-to-end: monitoring, alerting, and incident response
• ▹Drive the architecture for how new POS device types are onboarded and governed

Requirements

• ▹Deep experience with POS systems
• ▹Experience technically leading platform engineering teams
• ▹Familiarity with Android-based systems across multiple OEM device manufacturers
• ▹Experience setting engineering standards and architecture at a large organization
