Responsibilities

• ▹Build trusting relationships with the engineering team and tech leads
• ▹Support distributed ownership, transitioning from a functional (FE/BE) to an end-to-end team structure
• ▹Identify friction, bottlenecks, and AI leverage potential
• ▹Execute a roadmap balancing tech debt reduction, AI-native engineering, and product innovation goals
• ▹Spearhead adoption of AI-native engineering practices to increase efficiency
• ▹Guide organizational transformation from functional roles to broader, outcome-focused roles
• ▹Co-create technical vision and roadmap with tech leads
• ▹Ensure the data-heavy platform is fast, reliable, and secure, with GDPR handled as standard
• ▹Mentor and develop an international engineering team
• ▹Act as strategic sparring partner to the CEO and product leadership, and partner with saas.group's Central Platform team on DevOps and infrastructure

Requirements

• ▹Proven track record leading engineering teams in a high-scale production environment
• ▹High technical credibility across modern stacks, ideally PHP/Laravel, Vue.js, and cloud infrastructure
