Responsibilities

• ▹Manage a team of 5 to 8 Software Engineers
• ▹Balance individual contribution and management responsibilities (adjustable to your preference)
• ▹Collaborate with the Product Manager to uphold quality and efficiency standards while keeping the team engaged and fulfilled
• ▹Identify developers' key strengths and areas for improvement to support their growth
• ▹Work with other Engineering Managers to set up processes that support the team's growth

Requirements

• ▹At least 5 years of software development experience, ideally with Ruby on Rails or React.js (open to other technical backgrounds)
• ▹A balanced blend of technical, business and product skills
• ▹Solid management experience
• ▹Experience working in an agile team, team-player mindset
• ▹Empathy for users and a pragmatic approach
• ▹Strong communication skills
