Software Engineer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Work in React, Redux, Ruby, Rails, Postgres, and potentially Scala, Python, and Go
• ▹Dive into all layers of the stack: frontend, backend, API, data processors
• ▹Collaborate daily with Product Managers, Designers, Ops, and other Engineers to shape product direction
• ▹Share knowledge with others in Engineering, helping the team get better at their craft
• ▹Contribute to the psychological safety of the team through good relationships
• ▹Help interview and hire other Engineers

Requirements

• ▹Experience with some of the stack's technologies (React, Ruby/Rails, Postgres, possibly Python/Go/Scala) is a plus for faster ramp-up
• ▹Prior experience at a high-growth, venture-backed startup, or founder background
• ▹At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience
• ▹Understanding of SaaS business fundamentals (annual contract value, customer acquisition cost, annual recurring revenue) and how your work influences them
