Pennylane is a fast-growing French fintech building a financial Operating System for SMEs and their accountants. As a Software Engineer you join a 250+ person tech organisation, working in a cross-functional squad with a product manager, designer and other engineers to build features end-to-end. The product-led company invests primarily in building an innovative and scalable platform.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Take part in the discovery phase of projects with the Product Manager and Designer to define features
  • ▹Design the software architecture together with other engineers
  • ▹Build, test and release features to production
  • ▹Support customers by monitoring and fixing issues in production
  • ▹Complete tech onboarding to gain full autonomy with the stack and accounting concepts

Requirements

  • ▹Experience with backend software engineering
  • ▹Familiarity with the stack: Ruby 3, Ruby on Rails 7, AWS, React, TypeScript
  • ▹Understanding of CI/CD
  • ▹Ability to work in a cross-functional squad
