Service Engineer (Expert)

Responsibilities

• ▹Take E2E responsibility for one or more business services
• ▹Own the service concept document and keep it current and complete
• ▹Analyze and evaluate national and international customer requirements for feasibility
• ▹Develop standards and requirements within problem management for continuous service improvement
• ▹Handle detailed specification for the tool landscape and customer monitoring, second-level support
• ▹Define and track SLAs and service KPIs, react proactively to deviations

Requirements

• ▹Completed technical degree (telecommunications, electronics, IT) or comparable vocational training
• ▹At least 4 years of professional experience
• ▹Proven knowledge of project management and presentation techniques
• ▹Knowledge of network, transmission and signaling protocols in mobile and fixed telecommunications
• ▹Very good knowledge of OSI layers 1 & 2, confident with transmission technology including DWDM, Ethernet and microwave/radio-relay networks
• ▹Experience and enthusiasm for developing/optimizing process and tool automation
• ▹Fluent (C1) English

Nice to have

• ▹CCNA/CCNP certification (Routing & Switching)
