System Developer – Enterprise Java & Frameworks

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and maintain robust backend services and abstract in-house frameworks (e.g. based on Inversion of Control)
• ▹Identify bottlenecks in high-load environments using profiling tools and optimize JVM memory management
• ▹Design efficient caching strategies to minimize database access in distributed systems
• ▹Integrate and optimize core services (message servers, workflow engines, job scheduling) in modern container environments (Docker/Kubernetes)
• ▹Use AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) to speed up workflows and evaluate LLMs for system services or log analysis

Requirements

• ▹Completed vocational training or degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field
• ▹Deep knowledge of Java (multithreading, concurrency, exception handling)
• ▹Confident with current Java releases (Java 17/21+)
• ▹Expertise in performance optimization and JVM memory management
• ▹Confident use of profiling tools, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• ▹Solid grasp of SQL, ORM (e.g. Hibernate/JPA), and multi-level (shared) caching concepts
• ▹Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern observability stacks (metrics, tracing, logging)
• ▹German at least C1 level and good English
