Middleware Engineer - Data Operations & Support

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
• ▹Participate in entire project lifecycles (architecture, implementation, support)
• ▹Work with developers and analysts to deploy and support applications
• ▹Monitor systems and troubleshoot performance issues
• ▹Define and enforce platform policies

Requirements

• ▹Advanced skills with Apache/Tomcat/NGINX or similar
• ▹Experience with complete hosting solutions (CI/CD, web servers, reverse proxies)
• ▹Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
• ▹Understanding of relational database management systems
• ▹Good grasp of network concepts and debugging tools
• ▹Knowledge of web technologies and frameworks (Java, Rails, Spring, Angular)
• ▹Scripting skills (bash, PowerShell, Python)
• ▹Proficient in English

Nice to have

• ▹Ability to build containerized clusters (Azure Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, Docker)
• ▹Bachelor's degree in an IT domain
• ▹Microsoft Azure hosting experience
• ▹Developer experience
• ▹Familiarity with Oracle Database (PL/SQL, objects, administration)
