DevOps Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Ensure the stable operation and technical evolution of the internal eHealth development platform, from Linux systems through Kubernetes environments to the full CI/CD landscape
• ▹Act as the link between infrastructure and software engineering in a Java and C++ context
• ▹Implement modern automation concepts with Terraform, Ansible and Crossplane for on-premise (Tanzu) and cloud (GKE) setups
• ▹Design and maintain high-performance delivery pipelines including GitLab Runner, plus monitoring and logging solutions with Grafana, Loki and Mimir
• ▹Create an optimal developer environment through self-service approaches, clear guidelines and effective tooling
• ▹Contribute to security-relevant processes around the Secure Software Development Lifecycle and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• ▹Completed IT-related education or comparable qualification through relevant professional experience
• ▹Practical experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or platform operations
• ▹Good knowledge of Kubernetes, container technologies and Linux-based system landscapes
• ▹Routine use of Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and Ansible, and building automated deployment processes with Shell and Python
• ▹Practical experience with monitoring and observability solutions, ideally around the Grafana stack
• ▹Good understanding of security requirements and regulatory frameworks across the software lifecycle
• ▹Independent, structured way of working combined with a hands-on mentality, team spirit and motivation to grow professionally
