Responsibilities

• ▹Design and maintain internal tooling, packages, and abstractions that create simple, self-service paths for engineers and reduce infrastructure complexity and operational toil.
• ▹Build, operate, and continuously improve reliable, automated CI/CD pipelines that let engineers ship safely and frequently.
• ▹Operate and improve Oyster's AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, focusing on scalability, availability, security, and cost efficiency.
• ▹Apply SRE principles, observability, and incident-management practices to reduce outages, accelerate recovery, and eliminate recurring operational work.
• ▹Identify and implement practical ways to use AI and automation to improve developer productivity, accelerate incident diagnosis, and automate repetitive workflows.
• ▹Understand the needs of internal engineering teams and turn recurring pain points into scalable platform solutions, using feedback and metrics to continuously improve the developer experience.

Requirements

• ▹Must be based within the +4 / -0 UTC time zone range.
• ▹Experience with AWS, Terraform, Linux, Ruby / Ruby on Rails, and Datadog.
