QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Deeply collaborate with Engineering teams, actively participating in the development of new features and initiatives, from initial requirement analysis and test planning to execution, regression testing and final release sign-off
• ▹Partner closely with Product Managers, prioritizing testing efforts, clarifying requirements, challenging assumptions from a quality perspective, coordinating Business Acceptance Testing, and advocating for customer needs
• ▹Work closely with SDETs to expand and maintain automated test coverage for new features and regression testing
• ▹Collaborate with other manual QA engineers on cross-team and cross-business-unit projects
• ▹Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability

Requirements

• ▹3+ years of QA experience, with a focus on manual testing (Black Box, White Box and Grey Box)
• ▹Good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• ▹Understanding of integration, functional, end-to-end and API testing (Postman)
• ▹Experience with test case design, execution and reporting for complex systems (front-end and back-end)
• ▹Ability to create test cases and collections that exercise requirements and business rules, in collaboration with PMs
• ▹Experience with test case management tools (preferably XRay)
• ▹Good analytical skills and attention to detail
• ▹Great command of English (written and spoken) and at least basic Polish
• ▹Availability in the afternoons, with occasional evening meetings for cross-timezone communication

Nice to have

• ▹Experience working in a product company, ideally a startup or scale-up
• ▹Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and their impact on the QA process
• ▹Experience with Jira and agile testing methodologies
• ▹Experience with Salesforce or any other CRM
