Director, Engineering - Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead and grow the Infrastructure organization, overseeing SRE/Infrastructure and Security teams
• ▹Partner with senior technical leaders to evolve cloud infrastructure and improve reliability, scalability, developer productivity, and operational efficiency
• ▹Drive the team's roadmap and execution, maturing processes and reducing operational risk
• ▹Represent the Infrastructure organization with executive leadership and customers
• ▹Remain technically engaged by reviewing architecture, providing technical guidance, and occasionally contributing code

Requirements

• ▹8+ years of engineering experience, at least 5 years leading infrastructure, platform, SRE, or DevOps engineering teams
• ▹Experience managing senior and Staff-level engineers
• ▹Strong background building and operating cloud infrastructure for B2B enterprise SaaS products, ideally in high-growth startups
• ▹Ability to balance strategic leadership with technical credibility, including architectural reviews and technical discussions
• ▹Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

• ▹Experience leading both Infrastructure and Security organizations
• ▹Experience scaling engineering teams through periods of rapid company growth
• ▹Proven success driving cloud infrastructure initiatives
