Application Server Administrator

Responsibilities

• ▹Administer and expand a highly available server infrastructure for a public-sector client
• ▹Administer application servers, focusing on WildFly (JBoss) and Tomcat
• ▹Install and configure applications, manage monitoring and diagnostics of the servers running them
• ▹Automate deployments and monitor environment stability

Requirements

• ▹Minimum 2 years of experience as an Application Server Administrator or System Administrator
• ▹At least 1 year of commercial experience administering WildFly (JBoss) and Tomcat application servers, including installation, configuration and optimization
• ▹Ability to install applications and manage monitoring and diagnostics of the servers running them

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• ▹Experience automating CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• ▹Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• ▹Experience working in environments that meet public-sector requirements
