Responsibilities

• ▹Design, implement, and maintain reliable, scalable ML systems, justifying key architectural decisions
• ▹Drive development of shared libraries and infrastructure for model deployment, lifecycle management, and CI/CD
• ▹Lead model integration with infrastructure by creating APIs and services
• ▹Oversee delivery of multiple complex workstreams in high-risk environments
• ▹Ensure reliable model performance by defining testing frameworks and model versioning systems
• ▹Manage and coach multiple engineers, setting team-wide development goals
• ▹Execute proactive recommendations for adopting new technologies and AI frameworks

Requirements

• ▹Expert at defining technical roadmaps and managing project priorities in high-growth environments
• ▹Mastery of cloud-native ecosystems and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• ▹Proven ability to design large-scale AI-powered platforms and justify critical architectural decisions
• ▹Expert-level experience operationalising models within TensorFlow or PyTorch
• ▹Defines engineering standards and architecture patterns for agentic systems
• ▹Exceptional ability to align multi-disciplinary technical teams with business objectives
• ▹The role may require eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC) and occasional on-site work with clients
