Senior Procurement Officer (Cloud Infrastructure Supply)

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead end-to-end negotiations for complex, high-value agreements, prioritizing payment schedules, cost structuring, and discounting
• ▹Manage relationships with critical suppliers, ensuring the best possible infrastructure terms
• ▹Act as the primary bridge between procurement and Legal, reviewing complex clauses and translating commercial requirements into legal frameworks
• ▹Analyze procurement data and vendor proposals to forecast expenses and mitigate supply chain risks
• ▹Work closely with engineering teams and finance leadership, aligning procurement strategy with product delivery timelines

Requirements

• ▹Extensive, proven experience managing the full procurement lifecycle, with emphasis on negotiating complex, enterprise-level contracts
• ▹Commercial acumen: leveraging payment terms, balancing capex against cash flow, maximizing value through credit discounting
• ▹Strong capability to navigate and review complex legal language while protecting company interests
• ▹Strategic problem-solving: tackling supply chain bottlenecks and navigating challenging vendor dynamics
• ▹Successful completion of a background check

Nice to have

• ▹Direct experience procuring hardware, software, or services within the datacenter, cloud computing, networking, or AI technology space
• ▹Familiarity with modern procurement software, ERP systems, and supply chain best practices in a high-growth tech environment
• ▹Prior experience in a fast-paced, remote-first startup environment
• ▹Advanced degree or certification in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or Law (e.g., CPSM, JD)
