Lead Software Engineer (DevOps)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Be a highly accountable project leader in a geo-diverse team, mentoring junior members and acting as SME
• ▹Plan, design, build, and scale the infrastructure
• ▹Work with tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Argo CD, Terraform, CloudFormation and Resource Manager to ensure the stack is represented as Infrastructure as Code
• ▹Manage, design, and improve security and availability monitoring and processes across all services
• ▹Deploy and supervise workloads to cloud environments, with experience across core AWS services (instance management, IAM, database, caching)
• ▹Have a deep understanding of the core components required to run Kubernetes (EKS) and be able to build a cluster from scratch

Requirements

• ▹Proven experience as a Cloud engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on AWS
• ▹Solid experience in software development and DevOps practices
• ▹Expertise in AWS/Azure infrastructure automation
• ▹Proficiency in Python, Go, or JavaScript
• ▹Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven patterns
• ▹Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps methodologies, strong understanding of cloud security best practices
• ▹Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team, strong communication skills
• ▹Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have

• ▹Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use
