Responsibilities

• ▹Deploying, managing, and administering web services in public cloud environments
• ▹Designing and developing secure, highly available, performant, and scalable services
• ▹Owning operational aspects of web services: automation, monitoring, alerting, reliability, and performance
• ▹Innovating solutions to operational challenges with direct business impact
• ▹Driving resolution and communication during production-impacting incidents
• ▹Leading technical projects and ensuring project-level deliveries
• ▹Collaborating with engineering and business teams across continents

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field
• ▹8+ years of professional DevOps/Infrastructure management experience, with 5+ years in AWS
• ▹Strong foundation in operating systems, networking, distributed systems, and systems architecture
• ▹Proven track record of leading critical DevOps projects
• ▹Hands-on expertise with AWS services, orchestration (ECS, EKS), and infrastructure management
• ▹Proficiency with observability concepts (logs, metrics, tracing)
• ▹Experience with SaaS observability platforms (e.g. Datadog, NewRelic, Honeycomb, Dynatrace) and building in-house solutions (ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana stack)
• ▹Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash)
• ▹Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Packer) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• ▹Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
• ▹Broad exposure to cloud-hosted applications, virtualization platforms, relational/non-relational databases, reverse proxies, and orchestration platforms
• ▹Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have

• ▹Prior experience as a senior developer or application architect
• ▹Experience in cloud cost optimization and FinOps concepts
• ▹Experience working in compliance-regulated environments (PCI DSS, ISO 27000, HIPAA, SOC 2, GDPR)
