AI Integration & Automation Engineer (m/w/d)

Test Automation Engineer • Mid-level • Remote • Full-time European Union EU/EMEA

AI Integration & Automation Engineer role, developing agent-based AI solutions, integrating LLMs into existing systems, and automating complex business processes across applications.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and implement technical solutions
  • Develop and integrate intelligent automation solutions and AI applications
  • Integrate LLMs into existing enterprise systems
  • Develop robust backend and integration components
  • Connect existing systems via APIs
  • Automate business processes using modern workflow and AI platforms
  • Implement new AI use cases from concept to production
  • Ensure high-performance, stable, and scalable operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in software development, ideally backend development
  • Experience with Python or a comparable programming language
  • Knowledge of API design and system integration
  • Experience with cloud technologies, Docker, and Git
  • Analytical thinking
  • Interest in modern AI technologies and process automation
  • Independent, pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
  • Very good German skills and good English skills
  • Willingness to travel

Nice to have

  • Practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Experience with AI agents and agent frameworks
  • Workflow automation experience (e.g. n8n, Make, Power Automate)
  • Kubernetes or CI/CD knowledge
  • Experience with databases, data modeling, and high-performance data pipelines
