Senior Product Manager, Developer Experience

Responsibilities

• ▹Own and drive the vision and strategy for the API platform
• ▹Understand users through customer feedback, interviews and data analysis to define journeys and jobs to be done
• ▹Define and prioritize initiatives linked to measurable business outcomes and validated demand
• ▹Govern API/CLI/Terraform interfaces across all Confluent products for consistency
• ▹Execute key initiatives across multiple teams through delivery and adoption
• ▹Define targets, measure performance, share results and feed learnings back into strategy

Requirements

• ▹5+ years as a product owner/manager on developer-focused products
• ▹Deep technical understanding of how developers interact with API/CLI/Terraform interfaces
• ▹Experience building enterprise-grade products as engineer, PM, or solutions architect
• ▹Experience building and defending a product roadmap backed by user stories and research
• ▹Exceptional written and presentation skills

Nice to have

• ▹Experience making an infrastructure product AI-ready
• ▹Familiarity with LLM programmatic interactions
