Mandatory Internship: Full-Stack Development for Release Automation of Automotive Embedded Middleware Software

Responsibilities

• ▹Support the design and development of a full-stack web application that will streamline release workflows and improve traceability
• ▹Work with both front-end and back-end technologies to implement features such as release planning, version tracking, automated deployment triggers and status dashboards
• ▹Collaborate with team members to integrate the application with existing CI/CD pipelines and version control systems
• ▹Reduce manual effort, minimize errors and improve visibility of release activities
• ▹Work closely with product owners, DevOps engineers and software developers to understand internal stakeholder needs and translate these into intuitive, reliable and scalable web solutions
• ▹Keep an eye on current trends and best practices in full-stack development, DevOps, and software lifecycle management

Requirements

• ▹Studies in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Networking, Business Informatics or comparable, with a focus on embedded software
• ▹Experience in web development using Python and Node.js
• ▹Familiarity with Jenkins, Bitbucket, as well as Jira
• ▹Understanding of software release processes and CI/CD workflows
• ▹Knowledge of RESTful APIs and frontend frameworks
• ▹Ability to grasp complex issues quickly and manage time effectively; strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• ▹On-site presence required 2-3 days per week, partially mobile working possible
• ▹Very good English and good German

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in DevOps or automotive software development
