Mandatory Internship: Full-Stack Development for Release Automation of Automotive Embedded Middleware Software (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• ▹Support the design and development of a full-stack web application that streamlines release workflows, improves traceability and increases overall software delivery efficiency
• ▹Work with front-end and back-end technologies, implementing features such as release planning, version tracking, automated deployment triggers and status dashboards
• ▹Collaborate closely with team members to integrate the application into existing CI/CD pipelines and version control systems
• ▹Reduce manual effort, minimize errors and increase transparency of release activities
• ▹Work closely with product owners, DevOps engineers and software developers, gaining an understanding of internal stakeholder needs and translating these into intuitive, reliable and scalable web solutions
• ▹Keep track of current trends and best practices in full-stack development, DevOps and software lifecycle management

Requirements

• ▹Studies in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Networking, Business Informatics or comparable, with a focus on embedded software
• ▹Experience in web development with Python and Node.js; familiarity with Jenkins, Bitbucket and Jira
• ▹Understanding of software release processes and CI/CD workflows; knowledge of RESTful APIs and frontend frameworks
• ▹Quickly grasp complex issues and manage time effectively; strong analytical skills and structured problem-solving
• ▹On-site presence required 2-3 days per week, partially mobile working possible
• ▹Very good English and good German skills

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in DevOps or automotive software development
