Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop, and automate security controls across AWS and GCP cloud infrastructure
• ▹Maintain, integrate, and scale cloud security tooling (e.g., CSPM and vulnerability platforms)
• ▹Investigate and remediate cloud infrastructure vulnerabilities through to closure
• ▹Design and build access controls across cloud and Kubernetes environments, applying zero-trust principles
• ▹Partner with incident response teams to build detections and help analyze and mitigate incidents
• ▹Develop security standards and guardrails and embed them into CI/CD and GitOps workflows
• ▹Work with compliance teams (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR) to translate requirements into practical technical controls
• ▹Conduct architecture reviews, threat modeling, and code reviews
• ▹Lead security projects independently, from scoping through delivery

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of experience in cloud security or security-focused infrastructure
• ▹Solid experience with containerized environments, infrastructure as code, and Kubernetes across a multi-cloud (AWS and GCP) estate
• ▹Independent thinking, ownership mindset, self-starter attitude

Nice to have

• ▹DevOps or infrastructure engineering background with an interest in cloud security
