VBA Consultant (Part-time)

Responsibilities

• ▹Support end user computing applications: VBA and Python applications, macros, and Power BI dashboards across divisions
• ▹Maintain customer relationships and manage the change process
• ▹Develop new features in VBA/Python applications, macros and Power BI dashboards
• ▹Perform testing, change management documentation and support technology deployment
• ▹Prepare documents to support internal decision making, testing or training
• ▹Develop and execute an internal communication plan for changes and new features
• ▹Participate in handover of VBA, Java and SQL applications and related documentation
• ▹Ensure material is stored on SharePoint for audit purposes

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in IT, data science or related field
• ▹At least 7 years of direct experience with similar IT projects
• ▹Development and rollout experience with VBA and MS Office Macros (Access & Excel)
• ▹Good understanding of modern IT architecture
• ▹Experience with SQL, XML, XSLT
• ▹Strong project management skills, managing multiple tasks under competing deadlines
• ▹Experience providing reporting and communication at senior management level
• ▹Excellent English communication skills, oral and written

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Microsoft Azure
• ▹Professional experience with Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric
• ▹Experience in the financial services industry
• ▹Experience with financial IT systems: SWIFT, Murex, Bloomberg
