Responsibilities

• ▹Write high-quality backend code, taking on the most complex technical challenges
• ▹Guide the technical direction using Scala and Python for backend data systems and TypeScript for full-stack delivery
• ▹Actively use and advocate for AI coding agents (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) within the team
• ▹Connect deeply with product vision, optimizing technical choices for product value
• ▹Own the entire lifecycle of the team's features, designed for multi-tenant cloud scalability
• ▹Mentor through pair programming, deep code reviews and technical guidance
• ▹Focus relentlessly on hitting team milestones and removing blockers
• ▹Partner closely with Product Managers to refine features
• ▹Ensure production features run smoothly, securely and efficiently

Requirements

• ▹Deep backend engineering experience building and scaling cloud-native SaaS platforms
• ▹Strong, production-proven experience in Scala; Python or TypeScript a big plus
• ▹Deep experience using AI coding agents in daily work (must-have)
• ▹Builder mindset — loves writing code and building systems
• ▹Product empathy — motivated by the "why" behind what is built
• ▹High-agency leadership and ownership
• ▹Exceptional English communication skills (written and spoken)
