Responsibilities

• ▹Design and develop automated tests for large-scale web-based applications
• ▹Design, develop, and maintain automated tests in close collaboration with the development team
• ▹Automate test execution and report results to the development team
• ▹Contribute to the growth of testing procedures and methodologies

Requirements

• ▹BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• ▹Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
• ▹Fluency in English; German knowledge is a plus
• ▹At least 2 years of experience in automation testing
• ▹Knowledge of Software Life Cycle (SLC), Continuous Integration (CI), and QA methodologies
• ▹Programming preferably in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java
• ▹SQL scripting
• ▹Fluency in German (at least C1) mandatory; knowledge of English

Nice to have

• ▹E2E testing, preferably with a test automation framework (e.g. Cypress, Webdriverio)
• ▹Mobile testing (e.g. Appium)
• ▹Basic knowledge of frontend unit testing
• ▹Basic knowledge of backend unit and integration testing (e.g. JUnit, TestNG)
• ▹Mocking tools (e.g. Mockito, Wiremock)
• ▹API testing tools (e.g. SoapUI, Postman, Rest Assured)
• ▹Load and stress testing tools (e.g. JMeter)
• ▹Docker
• ▹CI pipelines run on Jenkins slaves
