Senior CloudOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Maintain the reliability, stability, and efficiency of the platform
• ▹Help teams automate everyday tasks
• ▹Implement and support new infrastructure services
• ▹Work on improving the configuration management platform
• ▹Actively participate in incident response and management, including on-call
• ▹Drive bigger projects end-to-end, with the basic outline defined by more senior team members

Requirements

• ▹Advanced knowledge in at least four of: data networks, security, databases, cloud providers, process automation, containerised application management, intermediate knowledge of the rest
• ▹Advanced Linux administration skills for maintaining highly available web application infrastructure
• ▹Advanced experience with software load balancers such as Nginx, HAProxy or Envoy/Istio
• ▹Sufficient scripting skills in Python/Bash or other scripting languages
• ▹Advanced experience with infrastructure as code on a cloud provider (Terraform or similar) on AWS/GCP/Azure
• ▹Experience working with enterprise-grade infrastructure and SaaS solutions
• ▹Upper intermediate English skills

Nice to have

• ▹Advanced experience running the Kubernetes platform
• ▹Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals: networking, security, hardware, troubleshooting
• ▹Monitoring experience with Zabbix, Grafana or Prometheus
• ▹Intermediate experience with CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• ▹Advanced experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Salt)
