IT Network Administrator I (International)

Responsibilities

• ▹Resolve workstation operating system issues
• ▹Resolve printer issues
• ▹Resolve standard business application issues (e.g. Office)
• ▹Resolve line-of-business application issues (e.g. SAGE ERP, QuickBooks) and niche applications with vendor assistance
• ▹Resolve server issues
• ▹Resolve networking issues
• ▹Act as an escalation point for technicians
• ▹Participate in an on-call rotation providing after-hours and weekend support

Requirements

• ▹Experience troubleshooting Windows and Mac OS
• ▹Experience with Server 2012 to 2022
• ▹Experience with VMware and Hyper-V virtualization
• ▹Experience supporting M365 and Azure
• ▹Proficient with firewall rules, VLAN configuration, access point support/administration, VPN tunnels
• ▹Minimum of five years of experience in IT support or a similar role
• ▹Advanced knowledge of firewalls, switches, network architecture and troubleshooting
• ▹Advanced understanding of managing and troubleshooting networks
• ▹Advanced understanding of virtualized environments
• ▹Excellent command of English, spoken and written
• ▹Home office setup meeting minimum hardware, internet, headset, webcam and monitor requirements
• ▹Able to work full time, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST, Monday to Friday

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
• ▹Active network certifications
• ▹CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ or 3cx Basic Certified Engineer certification
