Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Collaborate with development, engineering and product teams within the Service Delivery Team
• ▹Ensure solutions meet availability, security, monitoring, alerting and scaling requirements
• ▹Execute changes together with SREs, release engineers, and platform and security architects
• ▹Implement standard operating procedures and runbooks during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance windows
• ▹Report on key platform availability and performance metrics
• ▹Manage change and incident tickets and respond to customer requests

Requirements

• ▹Cloud certification (GCP, AWS or Azure)
• ▹Understanding of cloud deployment models, CI/CD processes and post-deployment validation
• ▹Networking and Linux skills
• ▹Scripting/provisioning experience with Bash, Terraform, PowerShell
• ▹Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• ▹Understanding of SQL and Spark for data analytics
• ▹Strong documentation, reporting and communication skills

Nice to have

• ▹Certification in ITIL, ITSM or ISO 20000
• ▹Exposure to audit, risk and control frameworks such as ISO 27000
• ▹Proactive, able to work with limited supervision
• ▹5+ years of relevant experience
