Senior Software Engineer ( C#) - Based in Ireland

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Take full ownership of features from refinement through production
• ▹Build and maintain modern microservices in C# and .NET (8+) on Azure Kubernetes Service
• ▹Contribute across backend, Angular UI, test automation and CI/CD pipelines
• ▹Write clean, testable, well-documented code and hold the bar in code reviews
• ▹Create and execute test cases, manage test plans via Azure DevOps
• ▹Instrument services with OpenTelemetry and monitor with Datadog
• ▹Participate in on-call rotation as primary responder
• ▹Own customer escalations directly

Requirements

• ▹Strong C# and .NET (8+) experience building production microservices at scale
• ▹Solid grasp of CQRS, event-driven architecture and messaging systems such as Azure Service Bus
• ▹Hands-on with NoSQL databases such as Cosmos DB, MongoDB or similar
• ▹Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar
• ▹Comfortable with containerization and orchestration - Docker, Kubernetes, AKS

Nice to have

• ▹Frontend exposure - Angular, TypeScript, HTML/CSS
• ▹Test automation - Python/Pytest, Playwright or similar
• ▹Infrastructure-as-code - Bicep, Terraform or equivalent
