Senior AI Python Developer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• ▹Stabilize, speed up and extend the Python-based technology stack
• ▹Architect the AI technology framework and develop a technology roadmap
• ▹Design and implement low-latency, object-oriented Python code
• ▹Develop and maintain data structures and formats for scale
• ▹Design and develop core features in back-end processing systems
• ▹Participate in design, code, and architecture reviews
• ▹Keep up to date with the latest technologies and evaluate new tools

Requirements

• ▹4+ years of expert-level Python experience with object-oriented design and programming
• ▹Expert-level SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, Pytest, Docker and Docker Compose
• ▹University degree (BSc/MSc) in computer science, physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, data science or equivalent industry experience
• ▹Understanding of scalable Python application design principles
• ▹Understanding of Python threading limitations and multi-process architecture
• ▹Strong automated testing skills and code quality mindset
• ▹Proficiency with tools such as PyCharm, Git, pytest, mypy, flake and Docker
• ▹Fluent English, written and spoken

Nice to have

• ▹Jenkins, Kubernetes, OpenShift experience
• ▹German or another language
