SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect – Finance, DRC & Tax

Solution / Enterprise Architect • Senior • Remote • Full-time European Union EU/EMEA

SAP S/4HANA Finance Solution Architect role shaping global Finance process architecture, DRC/e-invoicing compliance and tax integrations, working closely with Finance, Tax and IT delivery teams.

Stack

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain the global SAP Finance process architecture (GL, AP, AR, AA, Cash & Bank, period-end closing, consolidation interfaces)
  • Ensure process consistency and standardization across entities with Global Process Owners
  • Translate business requirements into scalable S/4HANA Finance solutions
  • Lead DRC, e-invoicing and global tax compliance change requests
  • Integrate S/4HANA Finance with third-party tax engines (e.g. SOVOS, Baiwang)
  • Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Tax and IT delivery teams
  • Facilitate workshops and training for key users
  • Manage incident resolution, root-cause analysis and documentation
  • Support data migration activities (LSMW, MASS, BAPIs)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience with strong FI/CO expertise
  • Proven experience in DRC, e-invoicing and global tax reporting integration
  • Successful participation in 2+ full-cycle S/4HANA projects, preferably in multinational environments
  • Strong understanding of RTR, PTP, OTC Finance integration points
  • Deep knowledge of Finance compliance frameworks, statutory reporting and tax processes

Nice to have

  • Experience with multi-entity, multi-country financial processes
  • Knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP requirements
  • Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with GPO frameworks or global template rollouts
