Data Scientist (Face Biometrics)

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop machine learning algorithms for face authentication solutions
• ▹Research, prototype, and evaluate presentation attack detection and fraud prevention methods
• ▹Test and configure face algorithms against performance and accuracy standards
• ▹Extend and use existing biometric code libraries
• ▹Run experiments, interpret results, and translate them into deployable models and policies
• ▹Innovate solutions for emerging face biometrics challenges

Requirements

• ▹At least 2 years of relevant experience or a proven track record in computer vision/deep learning, data analysis, image matching, or liveness detection
• ▹Strong grounding in computer vision and machine learning
• ▹Proficiency with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• ▹Strong Python and/or C++ skills (version control, testing, debugging)
• ▹Experience handling and preprocessing large-scale datasets
• ▹Must be resident in Spain at time of application
• ▹English proficiency at minimum B2 level

Nice to have

• ▹Familiarity with synthetic data generation or weakly/lightly supervised learning
• ▹Experience with identity matching or metric learning
• ▹Knowledge of anti-spoofing against replay, mask, or deepfake attacks
