Responsibilities

• ▹Break down larger projects into individual tasks, delivering in multiple phases
• ▹Collaborate with product management, design and analytics during ideation and technical decisions
• ▹Create and monitor metrics, escalate when needed, support on-call operations
• ▹Participate in an on-call rotation as part of the role
• ▹Engage in team community activities such as the interview process and growth activities

Requirements

• ▹2.5+ years of experience as a software engineer
• ▹Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems, proficient in Python or Kotlin
• ▹Familiarity with distributed systems fundamentals, experience with AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes
• ▹Ability to turn a simple problem into a multi-component solution, writing clear, well-tested, extensible code
• ▹Comfortable navigating a large codebase, debugging others' code, and giving code review feedback
• ▹Strong verbal and written communication for collaborating with a global engineering team
