Engineering Manager Lead

Responsibilities

• ▹Owns delivery at the community level, accountable to engineering leadership for delivery across multiple teams
• ▹Ensures teams have clear priorities, sequencing and commitments, aligned with product priorities and technical constraints
• ▹Identifies risks early (delivery delays, quality/production issues, team focus or performance issues) and drives resolution with TLs/EMs
• ▹Maintains a written, transparent status of the community's key achievements, risks and action plans
• ▹Leads key reporting moments (e.g. mid-quarter updates, community-level delivery reviews)
• ▹Manages Engineering Managers and Technical Leads with clear expectations and regular coaching
• ▹Sets standards for feedback, performance calibration, growth plans and underperformance remediation
• ▹Improves structures, processes, rituals and staffing approaches to increase execution speed and reduce friction
• ▹Partners with Community Tech Leads and product leadership on staffing needs and constraints, driving the process to turn inputs into a committed plan
