Ultahost is looking for an experienced Front-End Lead to drive development of user-facing applications and lead the front-end team. The role combines React and Next.js development, architecture design, and mentoring, fully remote.

Responsibilities

▹Lead the front-end team across multiple projects
▹Break down product requirements into technical tasks
▹Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
▹Mentor junior and mid-level developers
▹Define front-end architecture and scalability roadmap
▹Document UI development guidelines
▹Develop high-performance interfaces with React/Next.js
▹Perform initial UI/UX testing

Requirements

▹5+ years professional front-end development experience
▹Strong React.js and Next.js (latest versions) experience
▹Understanding of front-end architecture and SSR
▹Modern tooling (TypeScript, Tailwind, Vite/Webpack)
▹RESTful API integration experience
▹Prior lead or senior role involving mentorship

Nice to have

▹Experience with SaaS or hosting/infrastructure platforms
▹Understanding of accessibility, responsive design
▹Familiarity with design systems (Chakra UI, Material UI)
▹Front-end testing frameworks (Jest, RTL)

Soft skills
