Responsibilities

• ▹Build multi-tenant services on public cloud platforms like AWS
• ▹Build, architect and consume APIs and backend services as part of the platform ecosystem, with an emphasis on automation, testing and security
• ▹Advocate for improvements to product quality, security and performance that have an impact on your team and others
• ▹Support junior engineering talent with mentorship and technical guidance
• ▹Interact with customers and partners to help them integrate with the services
• ▹Scale the services and solve interesting Space Communication challenges

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of progressively responsible software engineering experience
• ▹Extensive experience with Python, FastAPI, Postgres, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform
• ▹In-depth knowledge of at least one commercial cloud platform and its services
• ▹Led the architecture, development and building of backend services and APIs to ensure performance, security and reliability
• ▹Ability to own technical problems end-to-end
• ▹Excellent communication skills, working with end-users to design solutions, self-directed learning of new technologies and quick adaptation to a fast-paced environment
• ▹Work must be completed in the United States; U.S. citizen or national, permanent resident, refugee or asylee, or eligibility to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations
• ▹Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
