Software Engineer (PHP) - Remote

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Write clean, reusable and secure PHP code
• ▹Design and optimize MySQL, MariaDB or PostgreSQL databases
• ▹Build and consume RESTful APIs for third-party and frontend services
• ▹Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and fix application bugs
• ▹Work alongside front-end developers, designers and project managers in an Agile environment

Requirements

• ▹Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented PHP
• ▹Proficiency in frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter or CakePHP
• ▹Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery
• ▹Understanding of Git version control and dependency managers such as Composer
• ▹Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, WooCommerce or Magento
